Security Deposits

To ensure the security of Whip vehicles and to cover any potential incidental charges, a mandatory deposit is required and will be paid by the member before the vehicle is picked up. 

Deposit Amount

A minimum deposit of $200 is required when renting from Whip. The actual deposit amount may vary depending on a number of factors. This deposit serves as a security measure against any potential damages or unpaid charges that may arise during the rental period.

Payment of Deposit

The deposit invoice can be paid using major credit or debit cards, and it will be held until the vehicle is returned in good condition.

Whip will not apply the security deposit to any outstanding balances while the rental is ongoing, invoices incurred during a rental must be paid when they are due.

Deposit Returns

The deposit will be returned within 10 business days after the vehicle is returned, provided that:

• The vehicle is returned in the same condition as it was rented, with no damages or excessive wear and tear.
• There are no outstanding invoices, such as fuel charges, late return fees, or other additional charges incurred during the rental period.
• All membership agreement terms have been adhered to.

Once the vehicle is returned, Whip will conduct a thorough inspection. If everything is in order, the deposit will be processed for return. 

Members should allow up to 10 business days for the funds to reflect in their account, as processing times may vary.
