Choose Your Lane
These are difficult times for the transportation industry. But don’t believe the hype that ridesharing is dead. Now is the time to diversify into other services such as Uber Eats, DoorDash, or Instacart.

Uber and Lyft are Diversifying

Uber recently announced the creation of Uber Work Hub. Work Hub is an app that connects employees to other services such as Uber Eats, Uber Freight, and Uber Works. They have also teamed up with other companies like Domino’s, Shipt, & CareGuide to help their workers connect hiring businesses to a more significant workforce.

Lyft is launching a new delivery service aimed at helping sidelined drivers earn money. The new program will tap the driver to deliver essential items like groceries, medical supplies, and needed goods. Though Lyft has only launched this program in 11 states as of now, it plans to expand across the nation as more partners sign up.
