Cleaning Policy
At Whip, we understand that cleanliness plays a crucial role in the rental experience, especially when picking up rideshare passengers.
Thorough Pre-Rental Cleaning
Before members take possession of a vehicle, it undergoes a cleaning process. This includes both interior and exterior cleaning.
- The Whip team cleans all surfaces inside the vehicle, including seats, dashboards, and door handles.
- Carpets and upholstery are vacuumed to ensure a tidy and comfortable environment.
- Windows are cleaned for optimal visibility.
- Each vehicle is washed to remove dirt and grime, ensuring a fresh appearance.
- Special attention is paid to tires and wheel wells, keeping them clean and well-maintained.
Excessive Messes When Returning a Whip
Members are expected to return vehicles in a reasonably clean condition. If a vehicle is returned with excessive messes, Whip reserves the right to charge a cleaning fee of up to $100.
Examples of excessive messes may include, but are not limited to:
- Food spills or residue that requires deep cleaning.
- Excessive trash, such as bags, wrappers, or containers.
- Pet hair or odors from animals that require special cleaning.
- Stains on upholstery or carpets that require professional cleaning.
- Muddy or soiled surfaces that cannot be easily cleaned.
Personal Property
Members must clear all personal property from the vehicle when returning the rental. This includes, but is not limited to, clothing, bags, electronics, and any other personal items.
Whip is not responsible for any lost or forgotten personal property left in the vehicle after it has been returned.
